From the depths of Chicago’s chaotic streets. From the loving grasp of his mothrr’s arms. And the twinkle of his father’s eyes was born a young boy. He would grow up in a unique family. Soon the nickname Redd was attached to the light-skinned boy’s frame. There was certainly much adversity, strife, and hardship coming up in the extremely urbanized Southside of the CHI. Life’s struggles fueled the passion and fury that Redd would soon cultivate into wisdom. This wisdom would be rebuilt and reinforced every day. This in turn would be harnessed into a precise lyrical display that illustrates that which derives from the mind of FranC Gr!me$. 
         Since age 12, Gr!me$ knew he had a spark for music. His older brother schooled him up on all the Hip-Hop greats like Big Daddy Kane, Public Enemy no.1, Dr. Dre, and the list goes on and on. That along with his personal life lessons gave him much ammunition to foster his lyrical expertise. Early on he observed his Father, who is a well-known Chicago Reggae performer, weave his magic live on countless occasions. While watching the swagger and stage presence of his old man had he came to the realization that,” It’s in the blood!” So, he began a new set of the 3R’s; Rhyming, wRiting, and Reciting 
         His pursuit for hip-hop excellence is still on and everyday Gr!me$ can taste it more and more. Time will tell where things will land, but Gr!me$ is certain it will be right where they want to be; at the top because it’s too crowded at the bottom.
